Nice casual spot off of Main St. Good coffee and prebaked muffins, scones and desserts.

Cool coffee shop in Middletown. It was opened on Thanksgiving Day!
It was below 20F, in side the coffee shop was a little warmer than out side. Cool baristas looked they know what they were doing, and I like that in small independent coffee shops disappearing one by one, like book stores.
Anyway we had a relaxed time Klekolo.
Too bad I didn't ask about the meaning of the Klekolo name..
I guess I should google.
Coffee was good, service was friendly. -

Klekolo is such a unique coffee shop. The decor inside is very artsy-hippie-ish so it's right up my alley. They have local artwork & crafts displayed for sale & funky furniture for seating.
The menu has a lot of different flavored coffee options, which isn't really my thing, but all the options sound delicious if you like your coffee sweet & flavored. I'm more of purist when it comes to coffee/tea, so I picked a yummy peach green tea from their tea wall, which is packed with tons of different types of tea canisters to choose from.
I was so happy to find out their hours are different than most coffee shops in the area. They're open till 10PM weekdays & midnight on Fridays & Saturdays! So if you're a night owl or are looking to have tea/coffee after dinner in Middletown it's the perfect spot. -

Upon entering this café, I was entranced by the hipster vibe. Despite good first impressions, ordering was an utter disappointment. The cashier appeared disinterested & unprofessional. Like all the other eateries on Main St, Klekolo is overpriced. Furthermore, the only parking option available is metered street parking.

Had a cappuccino and chocolate hazelnut cake here and spent $7.50. The cake was mediocre; the cappuccino was robust the way I like it, but half of the cup was foam. They had a couple games. We hung out and played a round of battleship. What's great is that this place is open late.
